The Chiropractic Adjustment
Adjustments are gentle, comfortable, and life-affirming. Chiropractors use numerous techniques which are modified for individual size, sensitivities, conditions, and comfort levels.

Adjustments correct for:

  • joint misalignment
  • allow the joint to move freely
  • remove irritation from nerves
  • Adjustments allow for the effective communication between the brain and body to promote healing, health, and wellness

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ancient medicine that dates back at least 2000 years. Chinese medicine uses its own form of diagnosis which includes a thorough patient health history, tongue, and pulse diagnosis. Once the doctor comes to a diagnosis, acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, ear acupuncture, cupping and diet therapy may be used for treatment.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress to achieve health and wellness. Massage improves the function of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous system aiding in the rate of recovery from injury and illness. Massage therapy has many forms such as specific rehabilitative deep tissue massage for the treatment of a condition or alternatively a full body massage for the purpose of relaxation.

Cupping Massage Therapy

Cupping is a therapy in which glass cups are suctioned onto the skin’s surface through negative pressure. The suction draws out toxins, stimulates the peripheral nervous system, brings blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin, loosens adhesions in the connective tissue, and stubborn knots in the muscle. Chinese medicine believes cupping opens up the meridian pathway to allow Qi to flow freely. When Qi flows freely throughout the body, one enjoys good physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Cups can be left over specific acupuncture points to stimulate the flow of Qi in that specific area of can be used to massage the muscles which causes a deep muscular release. Cupping can be used to treat many conditions such as sore muscle, tensions, pain and even the common cold.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture works by balancing the Qi or energy that flows through the meridians in the body. Through this rebalancing, acupuncture will enhance the body’s natural healing power, improve immunity, and improve the patients physical and emotional health.
